Founded in 1892, South Staffs is one of the oldest private-member clubs anywhere. Now owned by its members who manage it for their benefit and enjoyment, it remains a welcoming club with participants drawn from all walks of life. With a course layout designed by the legendary Harry Vardon, and now home to the Peter Baker Golf Academy, it’s a first-class golfing venue with quality facilities to match. Our welcoming clubhouse, recently renovated, is the heart of South Staffs where members and visiting golfers frequent the bar and dining areas or attend social events and functions.
