Is Caddy Scout free?
Yes – completely free. There are no premium tiers. Every feature including round tracking, trip planning and the handicap calculator is available to all registered users.
How do I add courses to My Courses?
Click any course on the map to open its details, then use the action pills (Favourite, Want to Play, Played) to save it. Sign in to sync across devices.
How does the handicap calculator work?
We use the official World Handicap System formula: Course Handicap = Index × (Slope ÷ 113) + (Course Rating − Par). Set your index from the Caddy Scout navbar.
Can I suggest a course that's missing?
Absolutely – use the Suggest button in the navbar. You can suggest new courses, corrections to existing data, or report a course as closed.
How do I set up two-factor authentication?
After signing in, go to your profile and select 'Set up 2FA'. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator or Authy and confirm with a 6-digit code.
What is reciprocal rights?
Some private clubs have agreements that allow members of partner clubs to play at reduced or complimentary rates. Use the Reciprocal Rights filter to find courses with these arrangements.
