About Hendon Golf Course
The course was originally designed by J.H. Taylor and the legendary Harry Vardon. In 1923 with the compulsory purchase of part of the golf course to build the new A1, the club leased some more land from the local dairy farmer and sought Harry Shapland Colt to design the new layout.
